Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing us to build your custom PC. Our goal is to provide you with a high-quality product that meets your computing needs. To ensure your satisfaction, we offer two types of Warranty: (A) Standard Warranty, (B) Racuntech Protection Plan.
The terms and conditions for each warranty as well as comparison table are as follows:
(A) Standard Warranty
Terms and Conditions:
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Racuntech Standard Warranty (“Standard Warranty”) provided by Racuntech Sdn. Bhd. (“Racuntech”). By purchasing any PC with Racuntech, you agree to these Terms.
The Standard Warranty is eligible for any PC built and purchased from Racuntech. It covers both purchase of PC and full-set PC that may come with monitors and peripherals purchased under the same invoice.
- Standard Warranty Period
This warranty is valid for a period of up to 5 years based on each component’s model and manufacturer’s warranty period.
This Standard Warranty covers all components and the PC set as a whole.
- Standard Warranty Claim Process
To initiate a warranty claim under our Standard Warranty, please contact Racuntech’s customer support team and provide proof of purchase. Our technician will then inspect the component to confirm its eligibility and coverage under the warranty.
If any component of the PC is found to be faulty within 120 days of purchase, we will exchange it on an express 1-to-1 basis. This exchange can be fulfilled on the same day or within 7 days.
For components found faulty after 120 days of purchase but still within the manufacturer’s warranty period, the customer may claim the warranty through the standard warranty claim procedure. Please note that the process may take between 1 to 3 months, depending on the manufacturer’s policy and parts availability.
If any of the components of your PC is found to be faulty after the manufacturer’s warranty period has expired, we regret to inform you that you will no longer be eligible to claim for any warranty or replacement from Racuntech.
- Free Pickup and Delivery Service
We provide free pickup and delivery service for faulty PCs, including PCs from Sabah and Sarawak for up to individual component’s warranty period only.
- Free Lifetime Services
Under this Standard Warranty, we also provide the following FREE lifetime services:
- Free online and in-store troubleshooting
- Free dust cleaning and thermal paste replacement
- Free installation service for future component upgrades
(B) Racuntech Protection Plan
Terms and Conditions:
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Racuntech Protection Plan (“Plan”) provided by Racuntech Sdn. Bhd. (“Racuntech”). By purchasing the Plan, you agree to these Terms.
The Plan is available for purchase for new PCs as well as any PC that is still under Standard Warranty from Racuntech. Customers with a PC that is still under Standard Warranty can purchase the Plan by contacting our sales representative. To be eligible for the Plan, you must pay an additional fee percentage of the PC’s purchase price. The Plan is only available for personal, non-commercial use and is not transferable.
The Plan provides protection for each hardware component based on its respective manufacturer’s warranty. If a covered component fails during the manufacturer’s warranty period, Racuntech will provide an express 1-to-1 component exchange at no cost to you. The replacement component may be new or refurbished, and the terms and conditions of the manufacturer’s warranty will apply. The process may take between the same-day and up to 7 days.
- 1-to-1 Exchange Process
To start the replacement process under the Express 1 to 1 Component Exchange, you need to contact Racuntech’s customer support team and provide proof of purchase. A technician will then inspect the component to determine if it meets the eligibility criteria and is covered by the Plan. If it is eligible for replacement, Racuntech will provide a replacement component. You can exchange the faulty component with any component that has the same specifications, either of the same or higher price. If there is a price difference, you will need to pay the difference.
If you prefer an exact replacement, it will depend on availability. If Racuntech is unable to provide an exact replacement within 7 days, they will issue a Credit Store equivalent to the price of the item. You can use this Credit Store to purchase any items from Racuntech of the same or higher value. If the item you wish to purchase has a higher value than the issued Credit Store, you will need to pay the difference.
(C) Additional terms
The Standard Warranty and Plan does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, or neglect. They also do not cover software, data loss, or other non-hardware components. In addition, the Standard Warranty and Plan does not cover cosmetic damage or normal wear and tear.
Racuntech’s liability under the Standard Warranty and Plan is limited to the cost of the replacement component. Racuntech is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of use, or lost profits.
- Modification and Termination
Racuntech reserves the right to modify or terminate the Standard Warranty and Plan at any time without notice. If any terms or conditions in Standard Warranty and Plan are terminated, Racuntech will honour any claims made before the termination date.
- Governing Law
These Terms and any claims under the Standard Warranty and Plan will be governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflicts of law provisions. Any disputes between you and Racuntech will be resolved through arbitration in Malaysia.
- Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Racuntech regarding the Plan. No other representations, warranties, or commitments apply to the Standard Warranty and Plan unless explicitly stated in these Terms.
