Racuntech Protection Plan
Terms and Conditions:
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Racuntech Protection Plan (“Plan”) provided by Racuntech Sdn. Bhd. (“Racuntech”). By purchasing the Plan, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
The Plan is available for new PCs purchased from Racuntech, as well as any PC that is still under warranty from Racuntech. Customers with a PC that is still under warranty can purchase the Plan by contacting our sales representative. To be eligible for the Plan, you must pay an additional 3% of the PC’s purchase price. The Plan is only available for personal, non-commercial use and is not transferable.
2. Coverage
The Plan provides protection for each hardware component based on its respective manufacturer’s warranty. If a covered component fails during the manufacturer’s warranty period, Racuntech will facilitate the replacement at no cost to you. The replacement component may be new or refurbished, and the terms and conditions of the manufacturer’s warranty will apply.
3. 1-to-1 Exchange Process
To start the replacement process under the Component 1 to 1 Exchange, you need to contact Racuntech’s customer support team and provide proof of purchase. A technician will then inspect the component to determine if it meets the eligibility criteria and is covered by the Plan. If it is eligible for replacement, Racuntech will provide a replacement component. You can exchange the faulty component with any component that has the same specifications, either of the same or higher price. If there is a price difference, you will need to pay the difference.
If you prefer an exact replacement, it will depend on availability. If Racuntech is unable to provide an exact replacement within 7 days, they will issue a Credit Store equivalent to the price of the item. You can use this Credit Store to purchase any items from Racuntech of the same or higher value. If the item you wish to purchase has a higher value than the issued Credit Store, you will need to pay the difference.
4. Exclusions
The Plan does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, or neglect. The Plan also does not cover software, data loss, or other non-hardware components. In addition, the Plan does not cover cosmetic damage or normal wear and tear.
5. Liability
Racuntech’s liability under the Plan is limited to the cost of the replacement component. Racuntech is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of use, or lost profits.
6. Modification and Termination
Racuntech reserves the right to modify or terminate the Plan at any time without notice. If the Plan is terminated, Racuntech will honor any claims made before the termination date.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and any claims under the Plan will be governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflicts of law provisions. Any disputes between you and Racuntech will be resolved through arbitration in Malaysia.
8. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Racuntech regarding the Plan. No other representations, warranties, or commitments apply to the Plan unless explicitly stated in these Terms.
