Trade-in Program
Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the Racuntech Trade-In Program (“Program”). By participating in the Program, you (referred to as “Customer”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions set by Racuntech (“Company”):

1.0 – Eligibility:

  • The Program is open to previous and existing customers of Racuntech only.
  • Customers must provide valid proof of receipt as the first-hand or second-hand owner of the components eligible for trade-in.

2.0 – Eligible Components:

  • The Program accepts trade-ins for selected motherboards, graphics cards, and processors only.

3.0 – Trade-in Process:

  • Prior to initiating a trade-in, the Customer must contact Racuntech via Racuntech official messaging platforms (e.g., Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram) to arrange a consultation to pre-verify component(s) eligibility.
  • Following the consultation, the Customer may visit any Racuntech branch to complete the trade-in process.
  • The Customer must provide a valid purchase receipt to the technician.
  • Whenever possible, the Customer is encouraged to bring the original packaging, including the casing, box, plastic, and other relevant accessories.
  • A Racuntech technician will conduct a thorough inspection of the components for physical damage or malfunctions.
  • If the components meet the acceptance criteria, Racuntech will provide the Customer with store credit for future purchases.

4.0 – Valuation and Assessment:

  • The value of the traded-in components will be based on their current market value.
  • The valuation process will be subject to the discretion of Racuntech.

5.0 – Ownership and Transfer of Components:

  • Upon trade-in, the ownership rights of the components will transfer to Racuntech.
  • Racuntech will not provide any documentation to acknowledge the transfer of ownership. Acceptance of the store credit value by the customer and completion of the trade-in process will serve as the acknowledgement of the transfer.

6.0 – Warranty and Liability:

  • The components being traded in must be under warranty.
  • By accepting the store credit value and completing the transaction, the customer releases Racuntech from any liability or performance issues related to the traded-in components.

7.0 – Data Privacy:

  • Currently, the trade-in program only accepts processors, graphics cards, and motherboards, which do not store any personal data.
  • However, whenever applicable, Racuntech does not guarantee the secure deletion or removal of any personal data associated with the traded-in components.

8.0 – Redemption of Store Credits:

  • Store credits can be redeemed for the purchase of any in-store items but are not applicable to pre-order items.
  • Limited edition and newly launched products (within a period of 1 month from the trade-in date) are not eligible for redemption using store credits.
  • All store credits must be redeemed in a single receipt.
  • Customers may purchase item(s) equal to or exceeding the value of the store credit. If the selected item(s) exceed the store credit value, the Customer must pay the additional cost to complete the transaction.
  • Store credits can be redeemed in-store or via Racuntech’s official messaging platform; they are not redeemable through purchase on Racuntech website.
  • Store credits expire 1 month after the trade-in date and cannot be extended.
  • Store credits are non-transferable and cannot be transferred to any third parties.

9.0 – Program Modifications:

  • Racuntech reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of the Trade-In Program.
  • Any amendments will be posted on the Racuntech website. Customers are responsible for reviewing the most current version of the terms and conditions.

10.0 – General Terms:

  • The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time without prior notice.
  • The Company has the final decision on the acceptance and valuation of the components traded in.
  • Any fraudulent activities or attempts to deceive the Company in the Program will result in disqualification and may be subject to legal action.
  • The Company is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of components during the trade-in process.
  • By participating in the Program, Customers agree to allow the Company to use their personal information for program-related purposes.
